Example digipak covers we used for inspiration

In order to gain a true idea of what we want to use for the front cover of our digi pack, we decided to look at a variety of artists C.D covers in order to see what is the most popular running theme throughout.  Here, we found that the majority of artists used themselves as the front cover, often relating to their name to create a certain image they want to portray to their audience.

  The ones that stood out the most had something different about them, for example the album cover on the second image on the bottom right hand side has photography capturing the singer turning round quickly.  Another image that stood out to us was the cover with  pink on the front, as it grabbed your attention, and the cover with a women holding ballons as this is again a good example of photography. 

After taking these aspects into consideration, we decided good photography would help our album stand out, and therefore we used a picture that  we thought would reflect this.
